CLEVELAND — Denzel Ward stood up three straight times at the end of the game to make sure the Pittsburgh Steelers did not tie it up on Sunday.

Ward said before the game he wanted to ‘ruin’ the Steelers season, and the Browns were able to do just that, setting the Steelers up for a Week 18 clash with the Baltimore Ravens instead of clinching the division.

However, after the game, Ward was feeling himself even more, and threw a dart directly at Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the coaching staff.

“I was just surprised that they decided to come at me the last three plays of the game,” Ward said. “I didn’t think that that was a bright idea. But, hey, I was happy about it.”

Throughout the game, Browns edge rusher Alex Wright said that Rodgers was ‘flustered’ and ‘cussing up a storm’ along with the Steelers coaches.

Yet, Rodgers’ lack of composure seemed apparent to the Browns. Wright noted that targeted Ward three times ‘made no sense,’ which was an open rebuke of the Steelers’ game plan.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, the wide receiver targeted in those spots, said that the last play was pass interference. Rodgers agreed on that front, too.

Yet, the Steelers’ situational management and Rodgers’ decision-making throughout the game made little to no sense, and the Browns were perched on their high horses after the big win.
