Tanner Miller was a major addition last offseason, following head coach Jonathan Smith over from Oregon State. Now, after one season with the Spartans, the former Michigan State football offensive lineman has now signed a rookie minicamp deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, giving himself a shot at the next level.

Miller started at center for Michigan State in every game he played in, but was All-Conference at Oregon State while playing 10 games at guard and three at center.

Tanner Miller has been a remarkable story throughout his career, which started as a walk-on with the Beavers back in 2019. He was able to earn a scholarship in 2021, before eventually being named a second-team All-American by ESPN in 2023.

While MSU’s offensive line had a rough year, Miller will now follow Luke Newman, who was drafted in the sixth round of the NFL draft by the Chicago Bears, to the NFL.
