The Pittsburgh Steelers have made a pair of roster moves ahead of the Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, parting ways with one player on the practice squad and signing another in his place.
On Monday, the Steelers announced two practice squad moves: the release of defensive back Daryl Porter Jr. and the signing of defensive tackle Kyler Baugh.
Signing with the Bills as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft, Porter was ultimately waived by Buffalo on July 28, after which he’d sign with Pittsburgh a week later. He made his NFL debut for the Steelers in the Week 16 victory over the Detroit Lions.
Baugh signed with Pittsburgh on August 1 after multiple injuries hit the offseason defensive line. He was released as a part of final roster cuts but was re-signed to the practice squad on August 27. He was let go from the practice squad on Christmas Eve but has now returned to Pittsburgh, potentially in time for a last-minute elevation in the regular-season finale.
