Texas A&M will undergo significant changes along the defensive line heading into the 2026 season, but one of the program’s most notable departures comes on the offensive side of the ball. Senior running back Le’Veon Moss announced on X that he will officially enter the 2026 NFL Draft.

Moss has been a steady presence in Aggieland throughout his career. He remained committed to the program through coaching turnover—including the transition following Jimbo Fisher’s firing—and went on to start at running back for each of the last three seasons. When healthy, Moss was one of the most reliable runners on the roster, consistently finishing runs, falling forward, and setting the physical tone for the offense.

Availability, however, was the one hurdle he could never fully clear. Moss appeared in 32 of 48 possible games, battling injuries that kept him from completing a full season. Even with a deep and talented running back room behind him, his absence was felt—especially against the SEC’s more physical defenses, where his downhill style often made the difference.

Despite the durability concerns, Moss’ game tape tells the story of a tough, decisive runner with home‑run ability and the strength to grind out yards after contact. His draft projection will likely hinge on how teams weigh that production against his injury history, but whichever franchise takes the chance will be getting a physical back capable of flipping field position or moving the chains in short‑yardage situations.
