The Denver Broncos (13-3) control their seeding fate going into the final week of the NFL’s regular season.
The Broncos have already clinched an AFC West title, and if they defeat the Los Angeles Chargers (11-5) in Week 18, Denver will also clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs. Already dealing with a host of injuries, L.A. will rest quarterback Justin Herbert and key starters, making the Broncos clear favorites.
Even if Denver trips up against the Chargers, the Broncos could still secure the top seed in the conference if the New England Patriots (13-3) lose and the and Jacksonville Jaguars (12-4) lose or tie in Week 18.
