The Detroit Lions (8-8) close their 2025 season with a trip to Soldier Field where a potential season sweep over the NFC North champion Chicago Bears (11-5) is in their sights.

In its date at Chicago, Detroit is also eyeing a fourth straight winning season under the direction of head coach Dan Campbell.

The Lions have been a banged up squad all season long, and Detroit sustained a few more costly injuries throughout its Week 17 loss at the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day. During the game’s final minute in Minnesota, Lions star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown twisted up his right leg. St. Brown had entered with an already-aggravated knee.

Though he returned, Lions right tackle Penei Sewell went down with an apparent injury midway through the second quarter, walking off slowly after getting looked at by trainers.

As it gears up for its season finale, the Lions shared their initial practice report for its trip to the Bears:
