With just one game remaining in the Commanders‘ 2025 campaign, Washington has made four roster moves ahead of its Week 18 contest with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Washington placed center Tyler Biadasz on the Reserve/Injured List, and in a corresponding move, signed center Julian Good-Jones to the active roster from the practice squad. The Commanders also signed guard Sala Amuavae-Laulu and defensive end D.J. Johnson to the practice squad.

Biadasz is in his sixth season in the league, and his second in Washington after playing the first four years of his career in Dallas with the Cowboys. The 6-foot-4, 316-pounder backed up starting center Nick Allegretti this season, and due to his IR designation, Washington has signed Good-Jones from its practice squad.

Good-Jones is in his second season in the league after spending his college career as a guard with the Iowa State Cyclones. He stands at 6-foot-5, 313 pounds, an inch taller than Biadasz; however, he has only played in one game as a professional, in 2023 with Washington. The 28-year-old was signed to back up Allegretti in the final week of the season, in case of any injury suffered to the Commanders’ starting center.

Aumavae-Laulu has spent his first two seasons in the league with the Baltimore Ravens organization after playing college football at Oregon. The Hilo, Hawaii, native has yet to play in a pro game. Johnson was listed as a linebacker for his three-year career with the Carolina Panthers. Since 2023, Johnson has played in 31 games, tallying 62 tackles, two pass deflections, 0.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery. However, after playing in 27 games his first two years in the league, he only saw the field four times in 2025.
