The Chicago Bears are gearing up for their Week 18 regular-season finale against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, where Chicago has an opportunity to clinch the No. 2 seed heading into the playoffs.
On the final Wednesday practice of the regular season, the Bears conducted a walkthrough with participation being an estimate. The biggest concern going into the week was the status of wide receiver Luther Burden, who was carted off at the end of Sunday’s 42-38 shootout loss to the San Francisco 49ers after putting together a career game. Fortunately, Burden would have been a limited participant with a quad injury.
The only players who did not practice were wide receiver Rome Odunze (foot) and defensive end Joe Tyron-Shoyinka (concussion). Wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus would have been a full participant after missing Sunday’s game with an illness.
