The Las Vegas Raiders offense has not met expectations throughout the 2025 season. There were major expectations on that side of the ball given the offseason activity. From trading for Geno Smith to drafting Ashton Jeanty, Raider Nation believed they’d field a competitive offense this season.

It’s been a dumpster fire. There’s one statistical fact floating around social media that really highlights how long-running of a problem the Raiders offense has been. The Raiders have gone a league-worst 36 consecutive games without scoring 30 points. That’s 20 games more than the second-worst active streak (Arizona Cardinals, 16).

Head coach Pete Carroll hired Chip Kelly to be his offensive coordinator and gave him the highest-paying salary for an OC in the NFL. Kelly was fired midseason and replaced in-house by Greg Olson. The offense hasn’t improved since Olson began calling plays.

Smith is expected to be replaced at quarterback this offseason. If the Raiders lose to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18, they’ll clinch the No. 1 overall selection in the 2026 NFL draft. That would position them to draft Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza at the top.

The Raiders are scoring a league-low 14.2 points this season. They scored their season-high 29 points in an overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Sweeping changes are required this coming offseason.
