The Arizona Cardinals announced Thursday they have placed safety Kitan Crawford on injured reserve after he sustained an ankle injury against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Coach Jonathan Gannon had already ruled Crawford out for the 2025 season finale at the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, and now his season has officially been shut down.

Crawford played in 15 games this year and totaled 20 tackles (11 solo) and one pass defensed. He also blocked an extra point in the second matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on Nov. 16.

The safeties room may be getting a reinforcement, however, as Budda Baker said Thursday that he has cleared concussion protocol and is practicing. Dadrion Taylor-Demerson and Jalen Thompson are also available to play versus the Rams.

In other moves, Arizona claimed linebacker Austin Keys off of waivers.

Keys, an undrafted rookie out of Auburn, has made 11 game appearances for the Minnesota Vikings this season and has registered seven tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss. Six of his tackles came as a special teamer.

Offensive lineman Tyler Cooper was released from the practice squad.
