Take a look at new Indianapolis Colts’ offensive tackle Jalen Travis, who the team drafted in the fourth round out of Iowa State.
Travis is an experienced collegiate player and spent the 2024 season as Iowa State’s left tackle after spending the previous three seasons at Princeton. Travis was among the best tackles in pass protection last season, ranking 15th in PFF’s pass-blocking efficiency metric.
“He is a little bit developmental but knowing him and the type of worker he is, if he gets thrown into a game, he’s not going to bat an eye, and he’s going to be fine,” said Colts’ area scout Tyler Hughes via the Indy Star. “He’s big enough, he’s long enough, he’s athletic enough. He’ll find a way to figure it out. … He’s got range on the edge, he’s able to redirect, his change of direction is good. The overall athlete is pretty good for how big of a man he is.”
