GLENDALE – After only 231 receiving yards in the team’s first nine games, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver is less than 100 yards away from his first career 1000-yard season. The 25-year-old is looking to be the first Arizona wideout to reach that milestone since DeAndre Hopkins in 2020. Entering Week 18, Wilson needs to record 93 yards on the road vs. the Los Angeles Rams to join an elite list.

Arizona Cardinals receiver Michael Wilson (14) signals a first down after his catch against the Jacksonville Jaguars at State Farm Stadium on Nov. 23, 2025.

Is 1000-yard season in the cards for Wilson?

Based on his Week 14 performance against the Rams in Arizona, Wilson should surpass 93 receiving yards easily. He recorded 11 catches on 16 targets for 142 receiving yards. Los Angeles does have stakes entering Week 18 due to playoff seedings, but its lone weakness all season has been its 17th-ranked passing defense.

However, the problem arises because of the location. The former third-round pick hasn’t had the same production on the road compared to at home. Since quarterback Jacoby Brissett has taken over the starting role, Wilson averages 53 receiving yards on the road and 107.4 yards at State Farm Stadium.

Wilson’s career high of yards on the road was last week vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, where he recorded 89 on five catches. The Bengals have the 28th passing defense in the NFL, meaning the Rams will surely give the third-year Cardinals wide receiver a harder challenge.
