CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The Carolina Panthers have been in the thick of the playoff hunt for weeks now, and it’s come down to a do-or-die weekend.
For the Panthers, their two paths to the playoffs are simple: Beat the Buccaneers on Saturday, or hope the Falcons beat the Saints on Sunday. Either one would get Carolina its first playoff appearance since the 2017 season.
Saturday’s game in Tampa Bay is the biggest of Bryce Young’s NFL career, and an NFC South title would cap off what has already been a bit of a surprisingly competitive season for the Panthers.
We’re bringing you the latest on the Panthers — plus more Charlotte sports news — on Friday’s episode of The Point After. Tune in at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, in the video player up above.
