The Chicago Bears injury report lists four players as questionable and one as out. Notably, Rome Odunze has a chance to play on Sunday.

The Chicago Bears close the 2025 regular season against the Detroit Lions, with the No. 2 seed on the line with a win. The Bears are not expected to rest starters, meaning we will see Caleb Williams and others. That said, Week 18’s final injury report suggests Rome Odunze is trying to play on Sunday.

According to the Bears’ public relations team, Odunze, Ozzy Trapilo, Nick McCloud, and Jaquan Brisker are all questionable for Sunday’s game. Defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka is officially out. Josh Blackwell, Luther Burden III, Jonah Jackson, and Olamide Zaccheaus will all play.

Trapilo’s name popping up certainly raises alarms, but Odunze’s availability continues to be the most notable. Once the Bears lead receiver, Odunze has battled a nagging foot issue for weeks now. Without him, the Bears have watched DJ Moore, Luther Burden III, and Colston Loveland step up in various situations. However, it appears Odunze is hoping to play against Detroit on Sunday.

According to Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times, Odunze is non-committal on a return. Per the receiver, the “goal posts” have moved a few times, and he’s just focusing on rehabbing. The good news? Odunze believes he will not need surgery on his foot, which bodes well for the playoffs. In addition, the Washington product said he felt “pretty good” at practice this week despite being limited. He won’t sit just to sit, so if he can play, expect him out there on Sunday.
