As a Dallas Cowboys season ticket holder, I demand we re-check these numbers.

That is a genuine question for my friends at The Action Network because I demand they actually check the sound levels at AT&T Stadium on a gameday. I was at every Dallas Cowboys game this season and no way in hell were we the loudest fans in the NFL. According to The Action Network, the Cowboys got a loudness score of 81.2. The Vikings who came in second got a score of 48.1. WHAT?!

A big reason for the Dallas Cowboys ‘loudness’ score is the attendance numbers for AT&T Stadium. They averaged 92,972 fans this year, which is 116.22% of the stadium’s capacity filled. You may be asking, how can they get that much over capacity? Standing room tickets and Jerry Jones sells the crap out of them every game. However, I would say the majority of home games this season were dominated by away fans. Green Bay, Philadelphia, and Kansas City had more of their fans in AT&T Stadium than Cowboys fans.

This survey would make you believe the Dallas Cowboys have some sort of home field advantage. Those days are gone since the old Texas Stadium (pictured above) closed. Too many suites in AT&T Stadium with people drinking champagne in fancy clothes to have a home field advantage. I got told to sit down on a third down in the final home game this year. Yeah, loudest fans my a**!
