The Buffalo Bills have elevated pass-rusher Matthew Judon for their regular-season finale against the New York Jets.
Judon, 33, will look to show what he has left in the tank on Sunday. A strong performance could go a long way in the four-time Pro Bowl pass-rusher getting elevated in the playoffs with the Bills.
The 2025 season has not been kind to Judon. He signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Miami Dolphins in August to provide depth off the edge, but failed to make any impact with Miami. In 13 games, Judon recorded 19 total tackles (1 TFL), three quarterback hits and one pass-defensed. Miami released Judon in mid-December. After going unclaimed on waivers, Judon joined Buffalo’s practice squad. After a few weeks to learn the system, Judon will make his debut with Buffalo in their final game at Highmark Stadium.
Judon is just one year removed from a 5.5 sack season with the Atlanta Falcons. Before joining Atlanta, Judon played with the Baltimore Ravens (2016-2020) and New England Patriots (2021-2023). Judon was named to the Pro Bowl in four consecutive seasons during his time with Baltimore and New England (2019-2022).
In addition to elevating Judon, the Bills also elevated linebacker Keonta Jenkins. Both could see extended time with multiple starters expected to play limited reps ahead of the playoffs.
Buffalo is currently the AFC’s No. 7 seed, but could rise as high as the five seed depending on the outcome of their game against the Jets and other matchups in the conference.
