The Buffalo Bills wrap up their 2025 NFL regular season schedule at home against the Jets in Week 18.

With some veterans likely to see limited playing time in favor of rest before the playoffs, and it being the final regular-season game at the current Highmark Stadium, the day will be a special one. Who will stand out?

Here are three potential X-factors on the Bills (11-5) offense against the Jets (3-13) in Week 18:

WR Tyrell Shavers

No Sauce Gardner and a banged-up Brandon Stephens will make for a more vulnerable secondary than when these two teams met early on in Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season.

Shavers had a big play downfield in his performance during last week’s loss to Philly. He could see increased targets if veterans are rested and could eat if fed the ball against the Jets’ pass coverage.

TE Dawson Knox

Knox has been a more involved part of the passing attack in the second half of the season. He has a bit to play for beyond the numbers in these last couple of games before the playoffs.

The veteran tight end can earn up to $300,000 in the final regular-season contest. Six catches will net him a $100,000 contract incentive, seven receiving yards another $100,000, and one touchdown will trigger another $100,000 incentive.

RB Ty Johnson

Bills RB1 James Cook has a chance to finish the season leading the NFL in rushing and may see enough playing time to do so. That being said, his backup, Ty Johnson, could see increased playing time when Cook rests.

Johnson has a chance to earn $375,000 Sunday. With two touchdowns, he would trigger a $250,000 incentive and could earn another $125,000 in the passing game with 57 receiving yards.
