Georgia Bulldogs starting defensive tackle Christen Miller, a redshirt junior, will forgo his final year of eligibility and is declaring for the 2026 NFL draft. Miller is the first Georgia player to make an NFL draft decision.

The talented defender posted 23 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks for Georgia in 2025. Miller anchored Georgia’s run defense and is expected to be an early draft pick. In fact, Tankathon rates Miller as the No. 42 player on its big board. Miller is projected to land with the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of Tankathon’s mock draft, which is way-too-early in advance of April’s draft.

Miller started 24 games over the past two seasons for Georgia and had a 87.0 overall Pro Football Focus grade over four years at UGA. The 6-foot-4, 305-pound defender leaves a massive hole along Georgia’s defensive front. The Bulldogs will have to replace their best interior defender.

In a heartfelt message, Miller thanked God, his family, friends, Georgia coaches, Georgia teammates and Georgia fans before announcing his plans to enter the draft. He’s expected to be one of the top defensive tackles in the draft.
