Injury Update: K Matt Prater (right quad) is OUT for the game.

The Buffalo Bills have been dealt one tough blow in their celebratory season and Highmark Stadium finale.

While the Bills have rolled the New York Jets from start to finish, one player who will not cross the line at the end is kicker Matt Prater.

Prater, 41, ruled the kicker out of the game early because of injury. It’s the same quad injury that previously caused him to miss playing time:

Missing Prater ahead of the postseason is concerning. At this time of the season, finding a capable starting kicker is unlikely.

Previously Michael Badgley was covering for Prater when he did not play because of his quad injury, but Buffalo released him after Prater’s return. Poor performance by Badgley likely played a party there, too.
