PHOENIX, Ariz. (KVOA) – The Arizona Cardinals will have the third pick in the 2026 NFL Draft following their loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
Arizona concluded their season with a 3-14 record, matching the records of the Raiders, Jets, and Titans. The NFL determines draft order in the event of ties by strength of schedule.
The Cardinals ended a challenging 25-26 season with a 37-20 loss to the Rams at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Matthew Stafford threw four touchdown passes, including two to Colby Parkinson, leading the Rams to victory.Â
Tyler Higbee returned from injury to contribute a crucial fourth-quarter score. The Rams, now 12-5, will advance to face the Carolina Panthers in the wild-card round.
Arizona finished their season with nine consecutive losses.
As the draft approaches, top prospects include Indiana quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza, Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, and Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson. Key defensive prospects are Miami pass rusher Rueben Bain Jr. and Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese.
