Sunday’s last regular-season game at Highmark Stadium was emotional for members of Bills Mafia, and while the day was full of memories and amazement, there were some things I wished they had done better.

Three Ways The Bills Botched Highmark’s Farewell Game

1 – Not everyone got a farewell coin – There have been plenty of rumors of people not getting one of the farewell coins that everyone who had a ticket was supposed to get. A friend of mine said she didn’t have one but was lucky enough that someone sitting near her gave them theirs. If you promise that every ticket holder will get a coin, then you should make sure that happens.

2 -Not Enough Legends Of The Game – While it was cool to see Thurman Thomas and Steve Tasker, it would have been cool to see a lot more former players with them to get all the crowd fired up. They were there at halftime, but it would have been so cool to have them all together before the game.

3- No Buffalo Jills On The Sideline – The Jills were part of most people’s gameday until 2014. I know the team wasn’t happy about losing the lawsuit filed by some former members of the Jills, but there are still plenty of Jill’s alumni in the area, and it would have been cool to see the Jills on the sidelines one last time. Even if it wasn’t for the entire game, it would have been cool to see them on the sidelines for a little bit.
