The New York Giants have officially entered offseason mode, marking the beginning period in which teams sign players to reserve/future contracts.
General manager Joe Schoen acted promptly. After conducting exit interviews on Monday morning, he made the team’s first personnel moves of the new year.
A reserve/future contract — commonly called a “futures contract” — secures a team’s rights to a player who did not finish the previous season on its 53-man roster. These players may include members of the practice squad, unrestricted free agents, or unsigned street free agents.
Reserve/future contracts are typically signed at the league minimum salary and are non-guaranteed.
Below is a list of players the Giants have signed to reserve/future contracts:

Additional signings in the coming days are likely, and we’ll update this scorecard as moves are made.
