The Indianapolis Colts have made another offseason addition at linebacker.
The team announced on Tuesday that they have signed linebacker Joseph Vaughn to a reserve/future contract.
On Monday, the Colts signed 16 other players to reserve/future deals. Linebacker Austin Ajiake was also signed to a one-year extension.
In short, these reserves/futures deals are given to players who are not on the 53-man roster and prevents those players from negotiating and signing with another team.
Vaughn was with the Colts for a portion of last summer’s training camp.
Vaughn went undrafted in 2025 out of UCLA. Over his college career, he appeared in 44 games between his time at UCLA and Yale.
According to the Colts’ team site, Vaughn logged 147 tackles in college, seven passes defensed, and four interceptions.
It’s early in the offseason, but there’s been an obvious emphasis from the Colts already in bolstering their linebacker depth.
