The Chicago Bears are getting prepared for their playoff matchup against the Green Bay Packers. This is the third time that these teams will play this season, as they have split the two games during the regular season. There is a lot of discussion surrounding this clash of NFC North foes, but one Bears legend made it known he is rolling with his former team. Let’s take a closer look at what he said.
Matt Forte is ready for the Chicago Bears to defeat the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs

While appearing on the Up & Adams Show on Tuesday, Bears legend Matt Forte discussed his expectations for the NFC Wild Card matchup between the Bears and the Packers. Unsurprisingly, he believes in his former team to be ready to roll with the punches and walk out victorious.
“I think the Packers are lackluster in their preparation for the Bears coming up. I think they’re a little overconfident in who they are. I think they are a little overconfident in that fact that they’re relying on the past to be predictors of the future. Every game is a new game, every opportunity is new. I don’t need to say anything disrespectful… I’m just going to speak the truth. That’s what I see.. they’re restnig on some of the previous notions of who he (LeRoy Butler) thinks the Packers are, and I think that come Saturday they’re going to find out.”
Forte definitely has Chicago in his blood, spending eight of his 10 seasons with the Bears. The Bears and the Packers played two extremely close games during the regular season, with each team winning once. This playoff game, being the rubber matchup, is going to be very intriguing to see which team is set up for greatness going forward.
