Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is facing serious allegations after his former girlfriend, Dacoda Nichole, accused him of domestic abuse that she says occurred over the course of several years.
Nichole shared the claims in a public Instagram post on Tuesday, January 6, uploading a series of photos that appeared to show physical injuries as well as damage inside a home, including a visible hole in a wall. In the accompanying caption, she alleged a long-running pattern of physical and emotional abuse, intimidation, and controlling behavior that she says continued even after their relationship ended.

“I’m so tired of keeping quiet. I’m so tired of protecting his image,” Nichole wrote, adding that she had reached what she described as a breaking point after remaining silent for years. She alleged that the NFL star repeatedly showed up at her home without permission, damaged her property, and subjected her to intimidation during and after their relationship.

Among the most serious claims, Nichole alleged that some incidents occurred while she was pregnant and that she was once locked outside overnight in freezing temperatures following a dispute related to alleged infidelity. She also accused Rice of destroying her personal belongings and failing to provide consistent financial or parental support for their children.
“He tries to put on this persona like he’s dad of the year,” Nichole wrote, claiming that his public image did not reflect her private experiences. She said her decision to speak publicly was motivated by a desire to “protect my peace, protect my children and stand up for myself.”

At the time of publication, Rice had not publicly responded to the allegations. There have been no confirmed reports of legal filings, arrests, or law enforcement involvement connected to Nichole’s claims. The Kansas City Chiefs organization and the NFL have also not issued statements regarding the situation.

The allegations surface while Rice remains an active member of one of the league’s most high-profile franchises. Claims involving domestic violence often draw heightened scrutiny under the NFL’s personal conduct policy, though no league action has been announced.
