Indianapolis Colts’ running back Jonathan Taylor led the NFL in total touchdowns during the 2025 NFL season.
Between rushing and receiving touchdowns, Taylor totaled 20 on the year. Of those 20 touchdowns, 18 would come on the ground.
This past season was another highly productive one for Taylor.
His 1,595 rushing yards were the second-most in football. Taylor also ranked ninth in yards per rush attempt, and he tied for third in rushes of at least 10 yards, according to Pro Football Focus.
All of that production from Taylor came without him producing a 100-yard rushing performance during the second half of the season.

Out of the bye week, the Colts‘ offensive line was unable to consistently carve out the same running lanes for Taylor as they did early on in the year. Fewer under-center snaps with Phillip Rivers at quarterback hindered the run game as well.
Taylor has now rushed for over 1,400 yards in each of the last two seasons. He has surpassed 1,200 rushing yards in four of his six NFL seasons.
