The NFL coaching carousel will make a stop in Arizona this offseason.

The Cardinals fired Jonathan Gannon after three seasons and a 15-36 record, meaning the franchise will be searching for its fourth head coach in eight years.

Gannon never put together a winning campaign in Glendale and failed to get Arizona into the playoffs during his rocky tenure.

With Gannon out of the picture, the Cardinals have been connected to several names on the coaching hot stove.

Unlike other teams searching for a new boss, there is no decided favorite when it comes to who will take the reins at State Farm Stadium.

Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph and Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, both of whom have previous head coaching experience, are lukewarm co-favorites to land the gig at +500 odds, but there’s really nothing separating them from the rest of the leading candidates.

It’s sensible that Joseph is one of the leaders in the clubhouse, at least according to the bookies at DraftKings Sportsbook, as he has a connection to the team after serving as Arizona’s defensive coordinator under previous coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Flores, who is currently suing the NFL and three teams (Giants, Broncos, and Texans), has served as the defensive coordinator in Minnesota since 2023.

He was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2021-23, where he alleged he was bribed by owner Stephen Ross to tank.

Klint Kubiak (+600), the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator, is right behind the favorites, as are a handful of popular names on the carousel like Mike McCarthy (+700), Joe Brady (+700), and Chris Shula (+700).

The recently fired John Harbaugh, who is the odds-on favorite to take the Giants job, is +800 to be hired by Arizona.

Other notable names include Matt Nagy (11/1), Todd Monken (12/1) and Robert Saleh (20/1).

If you’re looking for a funky long shot, Philip Rivers is currently priced at 50/1.
