Texas A&M will face major turnover along the offensive line heading into the 2026 season, and one of its most experienced veterans has now made his next step official. Senior tackle Dametrious Crownover announced Thursday that he will enter the 2026 NFL Draft, closing the book on a five‑year career in Bryan‑College Station.

Crownover shared the news on social media, offering a heartfelt farewell to the 12th Man rather than a surprise declaration. The move was widely expected—he has exhausted his eligibility—and he leaves College Station as a steady contributor who developed into a reliable presence on the right side of the line.

In 2025, Crownover allowed just one quarterback hit and two sacks across 427 pass‑blocking snaps, showcasing improved technique and discipline in protection. At 6‑foot‑7 and 336 pounds, he brings prototypical size and even logged snaps at guard, adding versatility that should appeal to NFL evaluators.

Consistency remains the biggest area for growth. Crownover earned a PFF 61.9 overall grade and was flagged too often in key moments and gave up too many pressures, things he’ll need to clean up during the pre‑draft process. Still, with his frame, experience, and positional flexibility, he projects as a developmental depth piece who could carve out a role at the next level.

Below is his full statement from Instagram, where he thanked the 12th Man and reflected on his time in Aggieland.

The NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
