After years of Chiefs dominance in the AFC, there’s a new heavyweight making waves.

The Broncos enjoyed a splendid 2025 campaign, besting all but three foes en route to an AFC West crown and the top seed in the AFC playoff bracket. Denver’s success largely stems from its harrowing defense, which surrendered fewer points than all but two teams. The Broncos boast a host of gifted talents across their rearguard, from reigning Defensive Player of the Year Patrick Surtain II to linebacking standouts Alex Singleton and Nik Bonitto.
Sean Payton’s side fancies itself a Super Bowl contender. Its record would seem to support that assessment, as the roster looks to improve on last year’s defeat in the wild-card round.
With that, here’s what you need to know about the Broncos’ playoff schedule, including who they face next in postseason play.

When is the Broncos’ next game?
Matchup:Â Broncos vs. TBD
It’s currently unclear who the Broncos will play when they begin their pilgrimage through postseason play in the divisional round. They’ll be matched up against the lowest-seeded team still remaining after wild-card play. Who will that be? It’s anyone’s guess at the moment.
After finishing with a 14-3 record and outgunning the Patriots via tiebreakers, Denver landed the top seed in the AFC. That gives Sean Payton’s side home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, as well as a bye week during the wild-card round. While it’s unknown exactly what day and time they’ll play when the divisional round starts on Jan. 25, the Broncos’ game will be available to watch on Fubo.
