Christian McCaffrey and Kyle Juszczyk formed an All-Pro backfield for the 49ers during the 2025 NFL regular season.
McCaffrey and Juszczyk were announced Saturday morning to the Associated Press All-Pro first team. Left tackle Trent Williams was selected to the second team.
The 49ers finished the regular season with a 12-5 record and will enter the first round of the NFL playoffs against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
McCaffrey was named as a first-team All-Pro for the third time in his nine-year career. He was chosen as the all-purpose player with Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson chosen as the top running back. McCaffrey rushed for 1,202 yards and 10 touchdowns while catching 102 passes for 924 yards and seven touchdowns.
He was aiming to become the first player to register 1,000 yards receiving and 1,000 yards receiving for a second time in the same season. Only Roger Craig, Marshall Faulk and McCaffrey have accomplished the feat once.
Juszczyk, who this season was selected to his 10th consecutive Pro Bowl, was named as a first-team All-Pro for the second time in his career. The AP only recently re-introduced fullback as a position for All-Pro honors. Juszczyk was a second-team selection last year.
Juszczyk appeared in all 17 games for the 49ers and caught 24 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns. He is widely used in the 49ers’ offensive scheme as a player who goes in motion and serves as a lead blocker for McCaffrey.
Williams, a 12-time Pro Bowl selection, was previously selected as a first-team All-Pro pick three times. Williams, 37, had another strong season protecting the blind side of quarterback Brock Purdy, who was sacked only 11 times on the season.
Williams is listed as questionable for the 49ers’ Wild Card game with a hamstring injury, though it appears as if he will be in the starting lineup.
“It’ll probably be in the back of my mind for a little bit, but once you get the juices flowing, the adrenaline, I don’t think it’ll be a problem,” Williams said.
