The Bears made a highly-questionable decision to go for it on fourth down in their own territory, getting stopped and giving the ball back to Green Bay with great field position. Chicago’s defense would get the Packers down to a 4th-and-goal, but Jordan Love threw his third touchdown of the half, the third different receiver to catch a touchdown.

Green Bay wasted no time in responding to Chicago’s opening drive, benefitting from a 33-yard pass to Romeo Doubs to put them in Bears territory. Packers QB Jordan Love would find Christian Watson with a 7-yard touchdown pass to give them a 4-point lead in the first quarter.

Bears bleed the clock on opening drive, go up 3

SCORE: Bears 3, Packers 0

Chicago got their Wild Card matchup started by taking the ball first against Green Bay and bled the clock, using over half of the clock in the first quarter. Unfortunately, the Bears had to settle for a field goal in the red zone, but their offense was able to chew up the clock and keep their offense moving down the field, despite facing multiple big third down plays.
