The Carolina Panthers‘ first postseason in eight years ended at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, in their wild-card round loss to the visiting Los Angeles Rams. And now, as is often the case when a team is eliminated from the playoffs or playoff contention, many fans will be diving right in on draft season.
But where should the Carolina faithful start on this new journey? Well, how about with where the Panthers will be picking from in the upcoming annual calling of names?
After the loss, the Panthers are now slated to select from the 19th overall position of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Barring a trade, this will be the first time in franchise history that the Panthers will pick from the 19th slot of the first round. The closest they’ve been to No. 19 was back in 2019, when they grabbed pass rusher Brian Burns with the 16th selection out of Florida State University.
As they head into their offseason, the Panthers currently hold seven picks for the 2026 draft.
