CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Rams are on to the Divisional Round of the playoffs following their 34-31 win over the Panthers on Saturday at Bank of America Stadium.
Los Angeles was the first game of Wild Card weekend, which means now it must wait to find out who its next opponent will be.
Here’s what those scenarios currently look like ahead of kickoff between the Bears and the Packers Saturday night. This article will be updated as those change based on this weekend’s results.
Hosting in the Divisional Round
It’s possible for the Rams to host a playoff game at SoFi Stadium next weekend, but they will need wins by the Packers (at Bears tonight, 5 p.m. PT on Amazon Prime Video) and 49ers (at Eagles Sunday, 1:30 p.m. PT on FOX) in order to do so.
In this situation, the 49ers would come to SoFi Stadium next weekend, while the Packers would head to Seattle to take on the No. 1 seed Seahawks.
Traveling to Chicago
If the Bears win and the 49ers win, the Rams would be Chicago-bound to take on the No. 2 seed Bears at Soldier Field, while the 49ers would head to Seattle to take on the No. 1 seed Seahawks at Lumen Field.
Traveling to Philadelphia
If the Packers win and the Eagles win, the Rams would be Philadelphia-bound to take on the No. 3 seed Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field, while the Packers would head to Seattle to take on the No.1 seed Seahawks at Lumen Field.
Traveling to Seattle
If the Bears win and the Eagles win, the Rams would be Seattle-bound to take on the No. 1 seed Seahawks at Lumen Field, while the Eagles would be Chicago-bound to take on the No. 2 seed Bears at Soldier Field.
