Beginning in 2027, the Tennessee Titans will have a new home, a state-of-the-art facility with a clear, enclosed roof to protect fans from the elements. The new Nissan Stadium will also feature the latest technology available for fans and players alike.

When they open the stadium for football events in 2027, the Titans will become the first NFL team to partner with Amazon to provide ‘just walk out’ concessions.

Similar to Amazon One, the company’s contactless grocery store, fans will walk into the concession area, pick up the food and drinks they want, and simply walk back out. The technology is designed to know which items you selected, and it will automatically charge your card without you having to hand it to someone.

There will be over 50 concession locations throughout the stadium, and the strength of the Amazon brand played a role in the team’s decision. Nissan Stadium will be the largest single-venue store deployment Amazon has done to date.

“It’s critical because it shows that the industry is bought in, fans are bought in, they’re comfortable making this jump to the full stadium,” Amazon Just Walk Out Director and GM Anthony Leggett said. “Customers no longer need to pilot. It’s proven, it adds value, cuts the lines down, and drives throughput and revenue.”
