The Pro Bowl is always seen by fans as a great honor for players, when in reality, the designation of being an All-Pro carries much more weight. On Saturday, the selections for the NFL’s 2025 All-Pro team came out, and there was a special occurrence that happened with the voters.
The Minnesota Vikings had just two players make the All-Pro team, both of them specialists. Kicker Will Reichard was a First-Team All-Pro selection, while long snapper Andrew DePaola was voted to the Second-Team.
Reichard had one of the best seasons a kicker has had in recent years after a preseason and training camp that painted his progress on less than stable ground. He connected on 33 of 35 field goals in 2025, with his only two misses being from beyond 50 yards, where he was 11 for 13. From below 50 yards, Reichard was 22 for 22 and showcased himself to be one of the best kickers in the league.
On top of those numbers, Reichard also connected on a career-long 62 yards this season.
Meanwhile, his long snapper, Andrew DePaola, also joined him on the All-Pro team as they became the first pair of specialists teammates to make the same All-Pro team in the same season in league history. In more history, this marks the first time a long-snapper has been selected to an All-Pro team in four consecutive seasons after being on either the first or second team since 2022.
