New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen has been aggressively pursuing John Harbaugh since the veteran coach was fired by the Baltimore Ravens after 18 seasons.

NFL insider Ian O’Connor reports that Schoen has maintained direct contact with Harbaugh, with talks described as positive and Schoen operating as a “relentless, John Calipari-level recruiter.”

The Giants are reportedly “all-in” on Harbaugh, viewing him as the ideal leader to stabilize the franchise. Additional reports indicate the organization is closely monitoring the situation to secure an interview, expected to take place next week — potentially Harbaugh’s first formal meeting since becoming available.

While Harbaugh seeks some personnel influence and a significant say in roster decisions, insiders emphasize he is collaborative and has no intention of demanding total control or Schoen’s removal.

Despite competition from teams like the Miami Dolphins, the Giants remain very much alive in the hunt for the Super Bowl-winning coach.
