The Arizona Cardinals did not make the playoffs, but it is possible that some future Cardinals players are playing.

How is that possible? Well, free agency.

Cardinals fans can not only watch the playoffs to see football, but also to see players scheduled to be free agents who might fit the Cardinals with their offseason needs.

The Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars play in the first of three playoff games on Sunday. The Bills have some players scheduled for free agency this offseason who might fill needs the Cardinals have.

Who are some names to know?

EDGE A.J. Epenesa

Epenesa did not have a big sack year in 2025 with only 2.5, but he had at least six in the three previous seasons. Zaven Collins will be a free agent this offseason, and the Cardinals really only had sack production from Josh Sweat.

OL David Edwards

Edwards is almost 29 years old and has been a starting guard for the Bills the last two seasons. The Cardinals have questions at guard entering 2026, as Evan Brown missed the final five weeks of the season and Isaiah Adams is still a question mark as a starter.

CB Cam Lewis

Lewis is solid cornerback depth and plays special teams. The Cardinals have a young core of cornerbacks but have some questions and don’t have much experience on the roster.
