The Arizona Cardinals did not make the playoffs. They are in offseason mode looking ahead to making changes on the roster, and they are looking for a new head coach. However, a few former Cardinals players find themselves in the postseason.

The first of three Sunday playoff games has the Buffalo Bills playing the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Between the Bills and Jaguars, there are five former Cardinals split between their rosters, reserves and practice squads.

Who are they?

Bills K Matt Prater

Prater was not the Bills’ kicker to start the season but has been since he was signed in Week 3. He spent the previous four seasons kicking for the Cardinals.

Phillips is currently on injured reserve. He signed a three-year contract as a free agent with the Cardinals in 2020. He played only 18 games in two seasons, set back by injuries both seasons, and then was released. He played in 11 games for the Bills this season and had a sack.

Jaguars RB DeeJay Dallas

Dallas played one season for the Cardinals as their kick returner and special teams extraordinaire in 2024. He was cut before this season and spent time with the Carolina Panthers before getting signed by the Jaguars.

Jaguars DL Matt Dickerson

He never played a game for the Cardinals but was on their roster in the 2021 offseason and on their practice squad that season. He played eight games for the Jags this season.

Jaguars LB Dennis Gardeck

Gardeck played for the Cardinals from 2018-2024. He signed with the Jaguars last offseason. He had 2.5 sacks this season, 1.5 against the Cardinals in Week 12.
