Michigan senior linebacker Jimmy Rolder announced on Sunday that he is forgoing his final year of collegiate eligibility and is declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pounder finished his final year with the Wolverines with 73 total tackles, including seven tackles for loss and two sacks in 12 games. He had a season-high 12 tackles (and 1.5 tackles for loss) against Ohio State, and came away with an interception against Washington. He also had an impressive performance at Michigan State this fall where he compiled 10 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one fumble recovery, one pass breakup and one quarterback hit.

Rolder played in 43 games during his time in Ann Arbor, coming away with 118 tackles, nine tackles for loss, one sack, one interception and three pass breakups. Despite playing in games early in his career, Rolder dealt with an injury during Michigan’s championship season in 2023 and only played in six games that season.
He took a step forward as a junior in 2024, accounting for 26 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. By the time he finished his career at Michigan, he earned All-Big Ten second-team honors.
