The New York Giants‘ pursuit of Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is intensifying, but logistical hurdles may necessitate that the interview take place in Baltimore rather than New York.
NFL insider Gary Myers reports that Harbaugh is expected to prefer teams coming to him amid a busy interview schedule, which is set to begin as early as Sunday or Monday next week.
Myers advised the Giants to secure the first slot, warning that if Harbaugh connects strongly with a team, he could commit immediately and cancel remaining meetings.
The Giants are said to be “all in” on Harbaugh, viewing him as the ideal candidate to stabilize their floundering franchise. General manager Joe Schoen has reportedly engaged in direct, positive conversations with Harbaugh, aggressively recruiting him and signaling willingness to collaborate on roster decisions.
While some reports claim Harbaugh seeks significant personnel power — including input beyond his current Ravens role — insider Ian O’Connor clarified he is unlikely to demand total control or Schoen’s ouster, favoring a collaborative approach.
