The Los Angeles Rams finally know who they will play in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs. Following a crazy back-and-forth game between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers, it’s now set: the Rams will visit the Chicago Bears next weekend.
The date and time of the game are not yet determined, but the Rams will be on the road for the second straight week. Elsewhere in the NFC, the 49ers will visit the Seahawks in the divisional round.
The Bears are the only team left in the NFC playoffs that the Rams haven’t faced this season, so this will be a new opponent for them. The Bears won a thriller over the Packers on Saturday night, 31-27, coming back from trailing 21-3 to win by four points. They scored 25 points in the fourth quarter to knock out the Packers.
The Bears won the NFC North and earned the No. 2 seed in the conference after an 11-6 season, all despite losing their last two regular-season games.
The Rams took down the Carolina Panthers in the wild-card round, 34-31, in what was a thrilling game that went down to the wire. Matthew Stafford threw the game-winner to Colby Parkinson from 19 yards out with just 38 seconds left on the clock, keeping the Rams’ season alive.
