The Atlanta Falcons completed their interview with former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh on Monday afternoon, the team announced. Harbaugh was fired by the Ravens after 18 NFL seasons and is easily the most experienced coaching candidate on the market.
Aside from being a Super Bowl champion and former NFL Coach of the Year, Harbaugh has been remarkably consistent throughout his NFL coaching career. He has an overall record of 193-124 (13-11 in the playoffs). The Ravens made the postseason in 12 out of Harbaugh’s 18 years in Baltimore, defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII.

If Atlanta is looking for a steady hand to establish a playoff standard, there aren’t many better options. The problem is that there are seven other teams looking to hire a head coach, and Harbaugh in high demand around the NFL.
The Falcons have completed five interviews for their head coaching vacancy, including both Seattle Seahawks coordinators Klint Kubiak and Aden Durde, Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver and former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski.
Atlanta will also reportedly interview Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel. Check out the full list below.
