The Tennessee Titans‘ head coaching search is well underway with general manager Mike Borgonzi completing his eighth interview of the first round with Raheem Morris on Monday, but the majority of social media focus was on a candidate that hasn’t even scheduled an interview: John Harbaugh.

The former Baltimore Ravens head coach continues to dominate the headlines in connection with the Titans after a fourth NFL Insider, Mike Garafolo, added another positive report linking Tennessee to the veteran head coach. While he didn’t specify that anything was imminent, or even if it was a strong possibility, he once again put the Titans squarely in the mix.

Garafolo joins Diana Russini, Albert Breer, and Tom Pelissero in creating a buzz that has a large portion of the fanbase salivating at the thought of Harbaugh roaming the sidelines of Nissan Stadium.

The veteran coach has all the qualities Borgonzi outlined in his season-ending press conference and would be a tremendous addition to the organization. The Titans could offer him an intriguing challenge as he looks to solidify his NFL legacy. Boasting a young quarterback, draft capital, salary cap space, and a familiar defensive system, the Titans may be what he is looking for during this cycle.
