The NFL All-Pro teams were announced over the weekend, and the Arizona Cardinals had a single player be honored. Tight end Trey McBride was named the first-team All-Pro tight end for the league.
But he wasn’t the only Cardinals player to receive All-Pro votes. Three other players received votes, one which is a mild surprise and another that really doesn’t make much sense.
Which Cardinals players received All-Pro votes?
TE Trey McBride
McBride was almost a unanimous All-Pro, joining Seattle Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua. McBride received 49 first-place votes and one second-place vote. One voter put San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle in first place.

S Budda Baker
Baker, twice named to the All-Pro first team and twice to the second team, received two second-place votes this year.
DL Calais Campbell
Campbell had a nice season, but his All-Pro vote didn’t come as a defensive lineman. He received a single first-place vote for special teams, and while perhaps it is surprising, it isn’t unwarranted. He did block two kicks this season.
P Matt Haack
Haack received a single second-place vote as a punter, which is the oddest thing. He was unemployed for half the season, getting signed to play the final seven games for the Cardinals. He punted well, averaging 51.3 yards per punt with a net of 43.4 yards. He had 10 downed inside the 20 and did not have a touchback. Those are good numbers, but it’s very odd that a player unsigned for most of the season would even be considered, but here we are!
