In 2015, I watched the Senior Bowl for the first time as a fantasy analyst scouting draft prospects. I had seen and researched RB David Johnson of Northern Iowa, but needed to watch him perform against higher-level competition for the first time. The Senior Bowl game, a key event for evaluating prospects, saw Johnson score the only touchdown for the South, boosting his rankings after an impressive week and performance.
There’s no such thing as too much football! 2026 is the perfect time to add the college game to your fantasy football repertoire. Whether you want to create your own league or join an existing league, the Fantrax College Football Commissioner is the place to go!
The 2026 Senior Bowl
Since 2015, the Senior Bowl has been one of the key steps in my draft process. Over the past 11 seasons, many running backs first came on the radar in Mobile, AL, and have impacted fantasy rosters:
Kareem Hunt, Toledo (2017)
Rashaad Penny, San Diego State (2018)
Tony Pollard, Memphis (2019)
Antonio Gibson, Memphis (2020)
Rhamondre Stevenson, Oklahoma (2021)
Michael Carter, North Carolina (2021)
Brian Robinson, Alabama (2022)
Rashaad White, Arizona State (2022)
Chase Brown, Illinois (2023)
RJ Harvey, UCF (2025)
Bhayshul Tuten, Virginia Tech (2025)
It is once again time to explore the running backs invited to the Senior Bowl. Recognizing the talent event as a key in scouting prospects can help fantasy owners and draft analysts feel confident that paying attention is crucial for evaluation.
Running Back Prospects (In alphabetical order)
Kaytron Allen, Penn State
In 2025, Kaytron Allen jumped ahead of his teammate, Nicholas Singleton, in the Nittany Lions’ backfield and in many prospect rankings among running backs. His back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and 6.2 ypc last fall suggest he could be a valuable addition to fantasy rosters. Allen concluded his Penn State career atop the all-time rushing list in attempts (769) and yards (4,180) while finishing third in career rushing touchdowns (39). At 5-11 and 219 pounds, the bruising ball carrier runs hard between the tackles with good vision, contact balance, and toughness.
Jonah Coleman, Washington
After two years at Arizona, Jonah Coleman transferred to Washington in the Pacific Northwest to play for the Huskies. In 2025, Coleman earned All-Big 10 honorable mentions after rushing for 758 yards and scoring 17 times. In 2024, he recorded his only 1,000-yard season on 193 carries, averaging 5.5 ypc. A compact build at 5-9 and 225 pounds, Coleman is difficult to bring down and packs a punch when engaged by tacklers.
Rahsul Faison, South Carolina
A seven-year collegiate, Rahsul Faison spent the first four seasons at three different programs: Marshall (2019), Lackawanna College (2020), and Snow College (2021). During the long journey, he saw no playing time in the first three years. Finally, in 2022, he got on the gridiron in his second year at Snow College, a JUCO program. Afterwards, he moved up to Utah State and played two seasons for the Aggies. Benefiting from the Pavia Rule, Faison suited up for the Gamecocks last year and earned 96 carries for 470 yards and three scores. Before starting his NFL career, the 6-0 and 218-pounder will turn 26 in February.
Seth McGowan, Kentucky
In 2020, Seth McGowan kicked off his college career at Oklahoma under former coach Lincoln Riley. Unfortunately, off-the-field challenges derailed his tenure with the Sooners. Later, he enrolled at Butler Community College to play in 2023, and the following year, he suited up for New Mexico State. His last step on the journey landed him in Kentucky last fall. In the past two campaigns, he scampered for 1,548 yards and 15 touchdowns while logging 42 catches for 403 yards and three scores. At 6-1 and 215 pounds, McGowan is a downhill runner with good vision and excels between the tackles. He is also a good pass-catcher on screens, wheel routes, and swing passes out of the backfield.
Jamarion Miller, Alabama
For years, Dynasty owners could count on a Crimson Tide runner in drafts to bolster their backfields. Alas, the well has not produced elite prospects over the past three draft cycles since Jaymr Gibbs in 2022. Jamarion Miller is not likely to replenish Dynasty rosters in 2026. In four seasons at Tuscaloosa, AL., the senior never exceeded 700 rushing yards in a single campaign and concluded his career with only 1,596. At 5-10 and 221 pounds, Miller has the size and frame to compete in the NFL, but the production profile does not foreshadow fantasy success at the next level.

Le’Veon Moss, Texas A&M
A four-star recruit, Le’Veon Moss was an Under Armour All-American and posted a sub-11.0 in the 100 meters. He signed with the Aggies coming out of high school in 2022. He earned 27 carries as a true freshman and jumped to 92 attempts for 484 yards as a sophomore. In 2024, Moss dominated opponents before a season-ending lower-body injury derailed his campaign. At the time he got hurt against South Carolina, Moss was the SEC rushing leader with 765 yards on 121 carries. In 2025, he returned but only collected 77 carries for 404 yards and six scores. At 5-11 and 210 pounds, the former Aggie is a north-south runner who makes crisp cutbacks and finds open lanes.
Adam Randall, Clemson
In 2022, Adam Randall joined the Tigers as a receiver, but moved to the backfield in 2024 and assumed the lead role in the ground game last year. Over this college tenure, he started 13 games at running back and seven at receiver. In 2025, he led Clemson with 168 carries for 814 yards and 10 scores. As a pass-catcher, he secured 36 passes for 254 yards and a touchdown. At 6-2 and 235 pounds, Randall runs with an upright style and still needs to improve his vision and lacks elite-level lateral movement. A versatile playmaker, Randall has an enticing skill set at the next level.
Nicholas Singleton, Penn State
I cannot believe that these words are being typed: After three years as a Nicholas Singleton Truther, I am reluctantly no longer the conductor of the train. I still have a seat, but Singleton needs to illustrate elite-level football skills and athleticism during the Draft process for me to move back into the driver’s seat. A five-star recruit coming out of high school, Singleton dashed for over 1,000 yards twice (2022 & 2024) during his four seasons on campus. Regrettably, he recorded his least impressive campaign from a production and film study last fall. Will Singleton embrace the process to elevate his Draft stock at the Senior Bowl?
J’Mari Taylor, Virginia
Before joining Virginia last year, J’Mari Taylor played for North Carolina Central (FCS) from 2020 to 2024. During his only campaign as a Cavalier last year, he powered his way for 1,062 yards and 14 touchdowns. Impressively, he snatched 43 passes for 253 yards and a score. At 5-9 and 204 pounds, Taylor enthusiastically engages defenders with a low center of gravity and does not go down easily. He is one of the more interesting prospects to watch during Senior Bowl Week.
Mike Washington, Arkansas
If a Draftnik or fantasy diehard has not seen Mike Washington run the football, it is time to place the former Arkansas runner on the ‘to-do’ watch list. At 6-2 and 228 pounds, Washington has fantastic feet for a power back, and the NFL will clearly value him in a committee role and possible bell cow when necessary. Last year, he pounded away at the opposition 167 times for 1,070 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while adding 28 catches for 226 yards and a score. He has great breakaway speed for a bigger back and stupendous contact balance.
