The Indianapolis Colts have made another offseason addition at linebacker.

The team announced on Tuesday that they have signed linebacker Devin Versuk to a reserve/future contract.

In short, these reserves/futures deals are given to players who are not on the 53-man roster and prevents those players from negotiating and signing with another team.

Veresuk played his college football at Windsor from 2020-2024. According to the Colts’ team site, Veresuk played in the CFL last season.

As a rookie, he was the second overall pick by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Versuk played in 18 games, totaling 66 tackles and 2.0 sacks with an interception and forced fumble.

Of the offseason additions made by the Colts, several have been at the linebacker position.

That is a unit that it sounds like GM Chris Ballard wants to rework this offseason.
