The Los Angeles Rams are a unique team in that many of their young players are also leaders in the locker room. With a roster full of players still on their rookie contracts, guys like Kobie Turner, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua and Quentin Lake are looked up to in their respective position groups.

Take Turner, for instance. In just his second NFL season last year, he was voted a team captain. That shouldn’t surprise anyone considering the leadership qualities he has, but it’s still impressive for a second-year pro to be a captain.

He’s continued to pass on tips and advice to younger players this offseason, coaching up rookie Ty Hamilton in practice recently. The Rams shared a brief clip of Turner teaching Hamilton in the second slide of the post below.

Turner is such an easy player to root for. He’s outstanding on the field and his passion for music away from football is admirable – not to mention, he has an amazing singing voice.

He’s poised to continue getting better and as he improves, so too will the rest of the defensive line room. Hamilton joined the perfect team as a fifth-round pick, getting the chance to learn from Turner, Braden Fiske and Poona Ford.
