Looking ahead to the 2026 NFL draft, these two defensive linemen were identified as prospects who could be good fits for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

ESPN’s Jordan Reid recently highlighted Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller and Florida defensive tackle Caleb Banks as Day 2 options for the Jaguars.

“Jacksonville should make adding depth along the defensive line a priority,” Reid wrote. “Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller is a young and disruptive interior defender who fits the scheme. Caleb Banks (Florida) is also a potential option as durability concerns could cause him to fall to Day 2.”

After trading away their 2026 first-round draft pick to move up for Travis Hunter in last April’s draft, the Jaguars’ first selection will come in the second round.

Miller is listed at 6-4 – 310 pounds. He’s recorded 19 pressures in each of the last two seasons, but has made a big impact against the run. This past year, he was one of PFF’s highest graded interior run defenders.

At 6-6 – 330, Banks provides another stout interior presence. He played in three games in 2025. Between the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Banks recorded 53 total pressures and six sacks. For what it’s worth, he graded out as an above-average run defender.

Addressing the interior defensive line depth should be on GM James Gladstone’s to-do list. At defensive end, building out that rotation behind Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker could be in play as well this offseason.
