During a recent interview with Sunday Night Football on NBC, Maye’s wife, Anne Michael Maye, gave fans a surprisingly relatable peek behind the curtain – and revealed that the Patriots quarterback is, in her words, “pretty picky.”
For someone as elite as Maye has been, you would think that he would be scarfing down steaks, chicken, or even protein shakes. In reality, it’s simply classic comfort food that wouldn’t scare off even the most cautious eater.

Anne shared that her go-to meals for Drake are very straightforward.
She said his favorites include spaghetti and chicken Caesar salad – nothing fancy. That’s what he likes, and lately, it’s been the fuel that gets the job done.

Anne’s pride really shines when she talks about watching Drake’s journey unfold. She’s been by his side since seventh grade, witnessing every step from school sports to the NFL spotlight.

As for superstitions, they’re not really Drake’s thing.
While she joked that his family leans more toward being superstitious, Drake himself stays locked in on the game. No lucky socks, no must-have routines. Just focus, preparation, and maybe his favorite dinner beforehand.
So as it turns out, one of the NFL’s most talked-about young quarterbacks is also a guy who just wants his spaghetti and salad. Honestly, that might make him even more relatable.
