The Tennessee Titans‘ coaching search is moving along, with Mike Borgonzi completing two more interviews with Mike McDaniel and Arthur Smith on Wednesday. With McDaniel’s in-person interview complete, the Titans have met the requirements of the Rooney Rule and are now free to make a decision and hire their next head coach.
With those interviews in the books, Borgonzi and the front office will turn their attention back to Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. Diana Russini reported that Harbaugh has completed his interview with the New York Giants and will meet with the Titans at his home on Thursday.
Russini’s post on social media aligns with another report that Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk flew into Nashville on Wednesday to likely join the front office and participate in the interview. While no verification was available, it is worth monitoring as before and after the interview.
With the completion of the McDaniel and Smith interviews, the Titans have now completed 12 interviews with potential candidates and have multiple interviews scheduled heading into the weekend.
